About Nick Lane

Director and Builder

The owner and operator of Aussie Lane is Nick Lane who was born in Sydney, Australia. Nick began his building career in Australia at the age of 14 working on job sites during school holidays, after graduating from high school he acquired his building apprenticeship. In Australia, a building apprenticeship requires working full time on site for 4 years and attending college.

Nick was a semi-professional rugby player and in 2002, at the age of 24, he moved to the USA to play a season of football with Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Nick’s first building work in USA was in Austin and since then Nick has built new homes, remodeled and restored homes throughout Texas, Aspen, Co, and Australia.

While Nick was born in Sydney, Australia but is now a resident of Texas with his wife Emyris who was born and raised in Waco. Nick and Emyris have triplet boys who are currently 4 years old and keen construction supervisors with Dad.
